I really dislike public speaking.
But anyways, I thought I would do a final blog on the overall course. This course has not been what I expected; in particular, I expected it to be like other English courses in which we are given a list of novels to read and we write essays on it. This course was very different; in particular, I had never used a blog before (nor followed blogs), so writing a blog was difficult for me.
I'm glad this course made me commit to finally reading a novel by Margaret Atwood. I had been procrastinating and I wanted to read one of her novels for a long time and this course allowed me to do so.
Although I enjoyed this course, I felt at times it was hard to know exactly what we were expected to do for assignments. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing, because I understand it was meant to remove some boundaries and give us room to work. Perhaps it just wasn't what I was used do.
